In this video I showed how to prepare for the Great Conjunction of 2020. The Great Conjunction of 2020 occurred on the 21st of December 2020 when Jupiter and Saturn will got as close as 0.1 degrees or just one-fifth the diameter of the full moon. This is a rare astronomical spectacle happening every 20 years or so but the December 2020 conjunction was really close – closest since 1623. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to view both Jupiter and Saturn through the eyepiece of your telescope at the same time. Watch this video to get an understanding of how to prepare for viewing or imaging an astronomy event like this.
